Research interests

I am an interdisciplinary researcher connecting the fields of empirical bioethics, communication and political sciences, public health, and medicine by using empirical methods (qualitative interview studies, surveys, qualitative and quantitative content analyses, scoping reviews) and pairing them with normative evaluations and theories. My research interests concern the ethical and social implications of genomics, infectious diseases, and digital health technologies. The conceptual focus ranges from informed choice, health literacy and information gathering to healthcare resource allocation and scientific policy advice.
