Practical Philosophy

The Practical Philosophy division addresses in teaching and research, systematically and in part historically, all areas of practical philosophy, in particular, action theory, theory of rationality and theories of rational thought as well as normative ethics, metaethics, and axiology. Moreover, it deals with questions from the fields of moral psychology, philosophy of law and social philosophy, applied ethics as well as political philosophy and philosophy of economics.
