The Logic and Theoretical Philosophy division deals in teaching and research, systematically and in part historically, with problems in the areas of logic, metaphysics, epistemology, ontology, philosophy of mind, theory of action, philosophy of language, semantics, and philosophy of mathematics. In addition, in Bern we also focus on the theory and philosophy of natural sciences, and the history of the theory of natural sciences.
