As a member of the philosophy student association, you are represented by the executive board and the delegates at the institute, the faculty and in other university-related organizations. The executive board, which you can vote for during the semi-annual general assembly, is there to enrich your daily university life by assisting you with pamphlets, tips, and links around your studies.
The executive board also organizes a variety of subject related social events: Alongside the “Philo-Café” and the “Philo-Lunch” in the kitchen of the institute, there is also a “Philo-Weekend” taking place in the Emmental region every spring. At the event “Philo-was nun?” former philosophy students speak about career options after university. And at the “Runder Tisch” you have the opportunity to present and discuss your written project papers. Kindly register for our newsletter to receive a weekly overview of interesting events and other useful updates.
